Have you ever been in a storm or two, maybe it’s seems like a tsunami. I’m talking about battle after battle? It feels like no matter what you do, you can’t win? You defeat Goliath and around the corner is Goliath’s Bigger Brother or Sister? Trust me, I feel you!
I may not have battled in your storm and you may not have battled in my mine, but trust me everyone has a storm to face. We should be there to hold each other up. I want to encourage you. Things do get better. Every door may slam shut in your face, every creditor may be calling, every doctor report may express bad news, every credit card may decline, every attitude may come your way, and every assignment of the enemy may attempt to end you. But I want you to remember one thing – You will win – The Lord is on your side. HE will fight for you.
Exodus 14:14 tells us, “The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.”
So be still and BREATHE. Yes, right now – stop, take in a deep breath! God has your back! Lean on HIM… Trust in HIM. Know that HE is Bigger than every trial and every obstacle that you may face. He never said it would be easy. Just as the journey may be difficult at times, it is just a journey. Tomorrow, you may be on a different path. It will pass.
The beauty for believers lies within God’s promises to us…HIs faithfulness. I want to encourage you to get your Bible out. Find a few scriptures for your heart. Memorize just a few that you can begin to recite daily. When in the time of need, you can remind yourself of God’s promises. More importantly, you can combat the enemy with the Word. He fears when believers actually start reciting and believing. He wants you to believe that you can’t win, you won’t succeed, and there is no point in trusting the Lord. How many know that the devil is a liar! You don’t have to remember the entire Bible; that’s not the point. The purpose is to affirm your life with the Word in times of distress, confusion, frustration, and hardship. Those same words will give you life over the seemingly lifeless situations you may be currently facing.
Learn to speak positive things over yourself. Believe that God is on your side. Refuse the negative. Walk with your head up high as a child of the King. You are not an outcast! You are simply in a storm that will pass.
Recognize that every good thing in your life is because of Jesus. Speak Victory, Speak Peace, Speak Blessings, Speak Success, Speak Love, Speak Joy, Speak Favor, Speak Health, Speak Wealth, Speak Strength, Speak Power!
You will come out of this better!!!
